This is probably the hardest thing to do in graphics design. If you use stocks or renders, you must always blend them together with the rest of the graphic so that it doesn't stand out too much but so that it still has a powerful effect and you have a nicely done finished product.
For this, I would just recommend playing around with the Blending Options (To do this, Go to Layer>Layer Style>Blending Options or simply Right-Click the actual layer and go to Blending Options). When you do this, I would try different settings and opacities on your stock and render layers and keep playing with it until you get something you like.
